Evidence of God’s Existence from a Personal View

For the past 27 years, God has been the unshakable pillar of my life, guiding and supporting me through every twist and turn. My journey has been marked by God’s blessings, favor, and peace, manifesting through personal experiences and the uplifting of my family, particularly my mother, whose steadfast belief in the power of prayer has been an inspiration.

From an early age, I have witnessed the transformative power of God’s presence. My parents' lives, especially my mother's deep connection with God, have shown me that God is closer than we often think or are told by church leaders. Through various life experiences, I have come to understand that God listens and is ever-present, even when we might not recognize it. This realization has shaped my perception of faith, leading me to believe that we are inherently godly beings, made in His image, and possessing His spirit.

Throughout my life, I have seen the hand of God in the path I have taken, regardless of the circumstances. Whether facing hardships or celebrating successes, I have felt God's guiding presence. My position in life, the choices I have made, and the opportunities that have come my way, all bear the unmistakable mark of divine intervention. It is evident to me that God’s blessings are not confined to moments of prosperity; they are also present in times of struggle, offering strength and guidance.

A crucial lesson I have learned is that God does not limit Himself in how He engages with us. It is often we who limit our relationship with God by condemning ourselves too harshly because of sin and other inequities. I have come to understand that having God on our side does not guarantee a simpler life. Instead, He acts as an anchor, a steadfast presence to lean on during tough times. Witnessing others with lives far rougher than mine has instilled in me a deep sense of gratitude, even when I face my own challenges. This perspective has taught me that having God in my life means never truly lacking what matters most: His love, peace of heart and mind, constant support, and the hope that things will get better.

Watching the series "The Chosen" has profoundly impacted my understanding of Jesus and His mission. The series portrays the disciples' struggles to comprehend Jesus and the significance of His presence in the world. This unique depiction has reshaped my perception of Jesus, highlighting His deep understanding of human frailty and His desire for genuine connection rather than instant reform. It underscores that God seeks a sincere desire to understand Him and His intentions.

Moreover, my spiritual journey has revealed that God is profoundly personal. We do not need to adhere to a specific church or doctrine to access His blessings, a belief that has been reinforced through my experiences. A few months ago, I took a break from mainstream church services and engaged in Bible study sessions with my partner. Each Sunday, we would meet, and one of us would prepare and present a sermon. This practice has been eye-opening, allowing us to explore the Bible's teachings at a personal level, free from the constraints of a preacher’s interpretation which in some cases can be misleading especially in the modern churches that focus on prosperity gospel and such.

These Bible study sessions have deepened my connection with God and enhanced my understanding of His words and intentions. I recommend such a practice to anyone seeking a more personal relationship with God. It offers a unique opportunity to delve into the scriptures and discover their relevance to one’s life, fostering a deeper and more meaningful connection with the divine.

God has been and continues to be a faithful presence in my life, my family's lives, and the lives of those I hold dear. This belief is not merely based on religious teachings but on personal experiences that have affirmed His existence and benevolence. Through every blessing and challenge, I have felt His unwavering support and love. As I look to the future, I carry this faith with me, confident that God will continue to guide and uplift me and the family I will have. My journey has shown me that God’s presence is real, personal, and profoundly impactful, shaping every aspect of my life and the lives of those around me.

Why Don’t Government Officials Ever Mix with Ordinary Kenyans?

The chasm between government officials and ordinary citizens has never been more apparent. Our leaders often seem removed from the daily challenges faced by millions of Kenyans, seemingly shielded in a bubble of privilege that prevents them from experiencing the realities of life in Kenya. This disconnection isn’t just a symbolic issue—it has profound implications on how policies are crafted and implemented, leading to decisions that feel foreign and irrelevant to the people. One striking example is the travel experience of government officials. While the average Kenyan endures long waits, crowded terminals, and substandard facilities at the airport, government officials are driven directly to and from planes, escorted to VIP lounges, and handled with special treatment that most Kenyans never see. These leaders are shielded from the realities of our airports—delayed flights, frustrating security checks, and a lack of essential services. In their separate world, they don’t encounter the...

The most important qualification for office is INTEGRITY

Fellow Kenyans, as we strive toward Vision 2030, I believe the most important qualification for anyone in public office is integrity. It’s not grades, tribe, money, or tailored suits that will push us forward; it’s the moral backbone to serve honestly, transparently, and responsibly. Without integrity, no amount of academic excellence, wealth, or charisma can create the genuine progress Kenya needs. We’ve seen the effects of placing the wrong priorities in leadership time and time again, with resources misused, promises broken, and an endless cycle of corruption that drains both the economy and our collective spirit. When I look at the state of our nation, it becomes clear that without integrity, the ideals of Vision 2030 are in jeopardy. Public office is a role of trust, where leaders are supposed to protect our resources and make decisions that benefit all Kenyans. But how often has this trust been betrayed? How often have leaders put their personal interests above the nation’s...

Feeling Lost? Embrace the Journey

Life is unpredictable, and sometimes, it feels like we lose our way. Whether it's from the weight of life’s challenges, drifting apart from people we once held dear, or feeling disconnected from our purpose and beliefs, the sensation of being lost can be deeply unsettling. But as daunting as it seems, feeling lost is a natural part of the human experience. It’s not a sign of failure; rather, it can be a profound invitation to rediscover ourselves and recalibrate our lives. Often, feeling lost comes from internal battles—grappling with questions of identity, purpose, or self-worth. When faced with setbacks in life, it’s easy to internalize failure. You may ask yourself, “Am I good enough?” or “Why can’t I figure this out?” Such questions can make you feel like you're stuck in an emotional fog with no clear direction. In my case, accepting this phase of my life has been transformative. It forced me to confront my limits and taught me valuable lessons about flexibility and manag...
